Friday August 1, 2008 7AM - till we're finished!
YOU can help us to fertilize and seed the new dog park! We will need 6 people for fertilizer and seed distribution, 2 runners to refill seeders and a cast of MANY more to distribute the 2 dump trucks of mulch no more than 1/2 inch deep over the seed. If you have a wheel barrow, rake or shovel please bring it along! Many of you have mentioned that you would like to have a hand in building our park-this is your chance! Lend a hand for even a half hour and be part of the team that built the new dog park. Your dog will thank you! PS: Remember to dress for hot monsoon weather. |

Just a quick communication as to Monday, June 23rd and construction happenings. We were just notified that with the Farmer's Market Shade Canopy construction, that contractors will be having a large Cement Truck backing into the Temporary Dog Park at Old Town sometime in the morning between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Please inform as many people as possible that we would appreciate their consideration and patience as we will be asking folks to move out of the park area for their protection/safety and that of their pets. Thank you for your understanding and assistance!
Sincerely:
Richard Faust Director of Parks & Recreation City of Cottonwood |

The irrigation trench around the park is now under construction. Take a look at the pictures of the construction.

WOO-HOO! The exterior fencing for the dog park is up. Things are progressing very quickly now, and we are still in need of donations from you to keep things going. To donate, please contact Jody Wheeler (or Lima, of course).
